Starting with this lesson, we begin the series of courses dedicated to materials.

There is no other fine arts field where materials are as important as in watercolor. Only there all the components deeply permeate each other, and the success of your project depends on the understanding of the materials. And one of the most important materials is, of course, paper.

So, this course is dedicated to paper. What properties of paper are important to us? Why do we get smooth or rough paper textures and how to use them? What determines the drying time of the paper? How to properly anchor the paper sheet for work?

In addition, you will receive a lot of my personal advice on the choice of paper - the tips that I use throughout my life.
